FAQ

  • Allen TX CAREs is a program of CERT. CERT is a part of FEMA’s Citizen Corps. While we are not an official city organization, we are responsive to city needs and requests.
  • We are tasked with leading public outreach and education related to COVID-19 (Corona virus).
  • We provide logistical support for vulnerable persons and self-quarantined residents.
  • We help consolidate volunteer and donation efforts for efficiency and the safety of volunteers and recipients of service.
  • Apply to serve at Volgistics. Training will be provided.
  • You can donate money or gift cards to offset the needs of vulnerable and quarantined persons. Check back soon to see donation needs and where to deliver supplies.

Texas Health Resources has provided a 24-hour hotline to assist anyone who is concerned that they may have COVID-19. You can speak with a nurse by calling (682) 236-7601

All personal medical information will be treated with HIPAA compliant care.
Allergy information will be collected with the initial interview and every effort will be made to ensure allergy safety.
